The Feed Mill

We had been in a basketball tournament in Franklin, Gatesville was on our way home so we took a detour to eat at the Feed Mill! OMGEEEE it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend! The portion sizes are huge so come with a hefty appetite! The owner just happened to be there and visited with us a bit, she is awesome and the staff is very friendly! Great atmosphere and great food! I gave them five stars!

This place was fairly good. I loved the chicken and dumplings. I could have eaten my weight in it. Homemade onion rings were fantastic. I give it a solid 4 of 5. 4 stars because: The salad was shredded lettuce and was more like spaghetti. And I'd change up the entrance. Put those string lights and change the displays or get rid of them it looks tacky and very out of date. Make it a bit more intimate. I also recommend putting the bathroom stall doors and sides closer together, they should not be that far apart to see that much. No privacy.

This place had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. They team we talked to was helpful and courteous. As for the food, we had the fried catfish, the steak tips, and the popcorn shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection and we all look forward to going back!

Food is fantastic! Home cooking in a restaurant. Country decor. Staff is friendly and efficient. We eat here several times a month.

This was my first visit to The Feed Mill and it won't be my last. Met with a friend for lunch. She tried the BLT - it was brimming with crispy bacon. She gave her sandwich a thumbs up. I had the Feed Mill burger with cheese and added mushrooms. It was juicy and flavorful. The restaurant decor is a very eclectic assortment of items from yester year.
