Just off Midway & Beltline, this little diner is Addison's best kept secret. They've been open continuously, except for Christmas, since 1982. My server has been here since 1989. Since they don't advertise, virtually all their business is word of mouth, & reviews on the Internet. Great food.
First, a HUGE, HUGE, thank you to Michelle for helping make our 15th Anniversary trip to Texas a wonderful success!!! She provided the most wonderful, warm, friendly and professional service we have EVER had!!!
In fact, we ate at J's every morning of our trip due to her superior service, the excellent food and unbelievably good prices!!
The owner is so great and took the time to come and chat with us and give us a very warm welcome to Texas. He is a true Texas gentleman, for sure!
We are planning to move to the north Dallas area soon and will be daily customers for sure!
They truly treat you like family and we can't thank them enough for such a great experience.
Best regards,
Paul K. & Dan H.

I love this place it's always good. Vicky is always our waitress a bundle of joy with a smile on her face and doesn't ever get an order wrong. They're always waiting for that to 15 crowd and on the ball they are.
Good food and good service!! Unique dining experience in that they allow smoking in the front half of the restaurant. Very traditional old school, dinner feel, so don't expect a 5 star restaurant or walk in with your nose in the air. With that said had a good time, and the food was good and reasonably priced!!
I love this place. Nothing fancy, just good food, good people, and great breakfast. A nice reprieve from the long lines and impersonal service I encounter elsewhere. I am gluten sensitive, but I don't get sick from cross contamination. (Of course I pick my food items carefully like at any restaurant.) It's just plain old GOOD.
