하뭉냉면 HOMUNG NAENG MYEON

Enjoyed mulnangmyeon and pork shoulder here. Very fresh and appropriately priced. Would recommend not listening to some of the bad reviews and trying this place. Some people complained the nangmyeon came out bland. It’s normal for nangmeyon to come out like that. It’s ok and expected to put some Korean mustard and vinegar that’s on each table. Have tried both here and the other nangmyeon place and both are great. It’s nice there are two different styles nangmyeon places to try.

Warning: if you are used to MSG laced Korean dishes, stay away from this place. I’m definitely not a fan of MSG so I loved this place. Mich better than the other 냉면 place in the same plaza.

물냉 - it’s bland. Just loke how itysupposed to be. With a bit of cinegar and mustard, it’s perfect with the side of 목살구이

비냉 - 양념 is not sweet. It’s just right

육전 - also bland but perfect with pickled onions and soy sauce

Super confused by the bad reviews. Not sure if they ever tried cold noodles before.

I am not Korean and never been, but eaten this dish for years. I'll sometimes make it at home via a great recipe I found online.

This was the cleanest tasting I have had in the metroplex. Very fresh and well prepared. I will go here for now whenever I am craving spicy cold noodles (which is often).

They had extra options and I know the owner was annoyed I took too long to order but didn't care. Was trying to figure out if I should do the fish or beef. I went with the spicy beef and was very happy.

Edit on price: The price of the food is fine. I am tired of people treating food from POC as if it is cheap. It is not. It is well made food with great ingredients. That is not cheap.

Food was bland, not a lot of flavor. Pretty expensive for the portion amount. Paid $40 for 2 cold noodle bowls and a very small side of meat.
