Babe's Chicken Dinner House

Family style dining. Your sides are free (green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, and biscuits) you just choose and pay for your meat (chicken fried steak, fried chicken, smoked chicken, or ftied catfish). I got the smoked chicken it was good until I got to the second piece and it was bloody. Our waiter had an attitude but we didn't let that ruin our fun. This was my second time eating there. Will definitely return, I just won't ever get the smoked chicken again.

Warm welcome, place was busy,but only waited35 minutes to be seated not bad. Food was worth the wait. Chicken was well seasoned and cooked.Green beans were over cooked but well seasoned I loved them don't usually like them so overly cooked.Corn, country gravy, salad all delicious, mashed potatoes were instant but good. The Arnold Palmer was the perfect drink, and the biscuits were heavenly. Well worth the price. Today I broke all the rules concerning my diet,don't care,will be back, just have to work out a little longer.

The staff at Babes' rival any place I have seen with regard to friendly, fast and efficient service. This is a home cooking type of facility with family style sides (large bowls of corn, mashed potatoes, plates of biscuits with honey and butter). Good food and a double helping of human kindness!

Beautiful and festive ambiance!
We ordered chicken fried steak and it was huge and delicious! The biscuits and sides were very good and made for a fine Sunday supper! It was my first visit here and I'm definitely going back! We didn't reorder any sides, and I thought it was wasteful that we couldn't take our leftovers.
Our waitress was slow and not very attentive.
