Been thinking about trying this place out for a while now as I drive past it everyday. Decided to go in this weekend and already went twice, food was absolutely incredible, catoufee and the crawfish shrimp fried rice is what I ordered and the bartender recommended both and she was 2/2. Inside was not what I expected, in fact it was better. Probably going again mid week… so good.
Let’s start by saying, some eat to satisfy a hunger and although most days I do too, today I ate with emotion, this food makes you feel good. This place is so hidden and secluded from all other places and I’m glad cause more for my wife and I. The gumbo, the pastas, the dessert. By far best flavors combinations of sweet, Smokey, spice and just overall soul…eating here was emotional to experience such good food. Can’t speak for everyone but for my taste of food this marks top 3 so far since I moved to Dallas area.
We wanted to try a new place tonight and came across this hidden gem. The food came out fresh and so hot that we had to wait on it to cool down. We had the Cajun fish fingers, shrimp basket and shrimp and crayfish fried rice. Everything tasted amazing!! Our server was super awesome!! She went above and beyond for all of her tables while we were there. We definitely will be back.
I’ve been seeing this place and decided to give it a try today. Nice, quaint sports bar ambiance. Staff was very friendly. Service was good. I had the fried shrimp and a cup of gumbo. Really liked the crunchy fries. The shrimp was good but a little too much batter. The batter hides the taste of the shrimp. The gumbo was good but no seafood, mostly chicken. Overall good. I will definitely go back and bring friends.
We came in on a whim. Googled places near us and this popped up. We had gumbo, calamari, fried oysters, and the crayfish shrimp fried rice. Wow everything was fresh and hot to the table. Batter on calamari and oysters was thin and crisp. Gumbo had just enough spice to let you know its there. Crayfish shrimp fried rice is a winner as well. Fresh crunchy veggies plenty of shrimp and crayfish to get some in most every bite. We will return.
