The Original Chicken-N-Rice

My Favorite Chicken and Rice besides the Irving Location. I drive to eat here, fast service, wish the front staff was friendlier though.
Food always well cooked, crunchy, no uncooked batter! Very satisfied! No complains ever

I've been coming to the Original Chicken n Rice for nearly five years and I've always been taken care of. Well priced and tasty fried chicken tenders and wings with fried, white rice or fries. Single meal or family meals make them busy at night, but rarely a long wait. Daily specials are a great deal, but I'm fond of the orange chicken. Made to order with a large portion of lightly battered crispy chicken with house orange sauce that puts Panda Express's to shame. Same owner since I've gone, almost same staff. Try it, not the copycat across the street and you'll love it.

You know, this is a pretty affordable place. We've been going there for years. Yes, it's not the healthiest option, but still good. We get the 30 piece fingers with rice or fried and it's cheap and feeds all of us and still have leftovers. They're very generous with their servings too. The fingers are golden and have good flavoring. They're chicken fried rice is quite delicious too. They don't have very many dish options but it's still worth going. They're wings are great too. Dining there is not really a great idea as it tends to get warm and its a pretty small dining area. During weekends, you may have about a 10 to 15 minute waiting time as it tends to get full.
