I saw this company on Shark Tank and immediately had to try it. I've been a few times now and it's absolutely fantastic. Everything was wonderful!! Lobster pizza, lobster roll...no matter what you choose you can't go wrong!
Visited the truck when they were serving up at Vitruvian Park in Addison TX over Thanksgiving and it was worth the wait and $$. I had the Connecticut roll which was delicious. And yes it could have been bigger, but that's only because I can't get enough lobster. Besides the roll, we also ordered the Lobster Bisque which is my new favorite and clam chowder. Talk about flavourful, so good. Also we had the smothered tots, which were good too, but should have ordered them with lobster. If you ever see them rolling around definitely eat there. And no I did not eat all this deliciousness alone, this all fed a family of 4.
Being from the northeast, I grew up with lobster rolls. I was excited to see that they offered the “Connecticut Roll” which was lobster with butter on the roll, just how I like it! The roll was $18, which is pretty average for a lobster roll, especially considering lobster is hard to get here in Texas. It was delicious and the perfect temperature but the only downside was that it was a little on the small side. About an inch longer would have made it a better deal. I will likely go back when they’re in my area again but probably wouldn’t travel far to meet them.
I visited the truck when there wasn't a line, so service and speed were great. I ordered the Connecticut (butter and lemon based) and absolutely loved it. The lobster was so flavorful, plentiful, and wasn't drowned out by mayo. The roll was toasted buttery goodness. I will definitely try this food truck again!
