Food excellent customer service excellent. Will definitely eat there again.

My sole go-to for fried catfish in Dallas for 10+ years after several fails at other recommended spots. Can't beat the price and the portions are super generous as my college-aged, athlete soon and I share a 3 piece with no issues. Each basket comes with fries, 2 slices of white bread, 2 hush puppies, and a yums tartar sauce with a hint of spicy. This spot has a popular booth at the State Fair every year - enough said.
4 stars because I once tried the shrimp and it was dry and rubbery. Also, they NEVER have the desserts they list on the menu when I ask. I've not tried any fish besides catfish.
Getting a talkative staff person is definitely hit or miss but no one has ever been rude. I only use the drive thru as I usually go at night and the area isn't up to par for my safety standards. There isn't an option to dine in.
