Smoky Rose

Yesterday’s Brisket - have had their brisket before and it was amazing. Today I went in at opening for an early lunch. Service was very slow and the waitress said they were preparing it fresh. The ribs were good but the brisket I was served was lukewarm. So obviously not fresh out of the smoker. My friend had the turkey which was fresh.

An absolute must on list of Dallas restaurants. Amazing outdoor space, live music, incredible food and the beer/wine selections are top notch. Last time we sat at the outdoor bar and met the bar manager. He was one of the best servers I've had at a restaurant in a while. Friendly, funny, but not overly in your face. Love Smoky Rose!

The atmosphere here is amazing. The service was always with a smile and made me feel welcome. I had a two meat plate with brisket and turkey. I also got a side of garlic green beans which was probably the worst part of the meal. The green beans seemed undercooked and there was barely any garlic flavor. The brisket was good, but the turkey was PHENOMENAL! It was perfectly moist, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly tender. I would go back again just for the turkey. Lastly, I can’t remember the exact name of the dish but the banana-pudding-themed dessert was excellent.

We picked this restaurant randomly because of its location close to White Rock Lake Park. It was easily one of the best dozen restaurants I've ever visited. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean, our server was prompt and nice, I commented on how good every single piece of food was, and finally it was fairly cheap. 2 of us were VERY full and only spent $28

I made a rehersal dinner reservation for a party of about 40 people for the wrong night and when we showed up the manager was so accommodating. He let us know we would have to wait a few minutes and continued to keep us updated during our wait. They set us up in our own room and our waitress was amazing! The food was incredible, the atmosphere is great, and the customer service was unbelievable. They could have easily turned us a way but were so friendly and the night turned out great. I can’t recommend this place enough!
