The Mercury

Good food and a great atmosphere. It's a bit pricier than I would have liked for a strip mall but I'd go again if I had something to celebrate since the steaks were so good. The sides were also cooked perfectly and had great flavor.

It just doesn't get any better than the Mercury! Chicken and liver pate was delicate but flavorful. The Veal Milanese was incredibly soft, well crisped and rewarding. The Crispy Salmon was well prepared with a crispy outside but moist and flavorful interior. Wait staff are all well trained and experienced. Environment supports a full house that allows you to talk to your dinner partners in a normal tone of voice. If you have a special occasion or are not sure where to go for dinner, go to the Mercury.

Don't let the location (in a strip center) fool you as this place is a gem. The food was absolutely wonderful while the service was even better. We went there for the first time a few days ago and were told there is a 45 min wait. We were seated in 40 and the manager gave us a free bottle of wine, for absolutely no reason at all. Waitress was incredibly attentive and our steaks were cooked to perfection.

I have been here several times for brunch and dinner. The food has been excellent, but--by far--the highlight here is the service. The waitstaff are incredibly attentive, gracious, and knowledgeable. They obviously take pride in their restaurant and are eager to ensure that patrons have a good experience. During one of my visits, the manager was proud to bring a sample of the braised short ribs to the table and explain the method employed that makes them so good. I appreciate these kinds of experiences very much.
