Best soul found I've had... Even over Sweetie Pies in St Louis. Prices are comparable but they are VERY generous with their servings. And you're definitely going to get your money's worth. Just be expecting to wait in line for maybe 30+ minutes. Definitely worth the wait

The best soul food hands down! I have waited over 90 minutes in line on a Sunday afternoon. So it must be good. Please don't expect healthy food. Even the veggies have meat in them. But if you want to make the most of that cheat day you can't go wrong. I personally love the smothered turkey wings. And no need to worry about lunch the next day you get a lot and I do mean a lot of food. Honestly there is enough for 2 people to share with plenty with one plate. Definitely worth the wait and money.

This restaurant offers excellent soul food. Everything I ate was great. The portions were more than generous. They gave me so much food I was able to eat off this plate three times. The only downfall was where they're located. I was traveling from Ft Worth to Dallas and it seemed to be about a 45 min to an hour trip. Would be nice if they would add another location closer to me. You can't go wrong if you're looking for the best in soul food. Five ???? easy.

Mouth watering, gravy dripping, southern cuisine . Simply stated, the best of the best!!!! Sweet Georgia Brown has some of the best southern food I've ever tasted and the portions are off the chain.
You fed me well and whenever I stopped in Dallas, I will look for Sweet Georgia Brown. Keep up the good work!

The Soul Food experience I had at Sweet Georgia Brown began with the kind and attentive staff. They were great!! The meat was succulent and well prepared!! The macaroni was rich and indulgent!! The greens were delicious and the lemon cake was decadent!! Thank you to everyone who was so kind to the lady with the broke leg and especially to my taste buds!!
