This is no longer a recommended poke place.
To put this into context, before today I was a *weekly* regular here.
Today, to my surprise, the size of the regular bowl was decreased at least 15% while remaining at a premium price. The quality also appears to be going down - the entire bowl was very cold, instead of being at least room temp / warm, and the fish left an unusual aftertaste. After finishing my bowl, I was still hungry and put down an entire ramen bowl - this has never happened before! These are all signs that management is heading in the wrong direction.
While poke is unquestionably a premium product that can command higher prices, customers expect there to also be greater quality and adequate quantity to justify the cost. There are also a growing number of competitors that offer similar products for better prices; if you're in the mood for nearby asian food, the new Burning Rice a few doors down from Go Fish would be a much better choice.
Unless the price of the regular bowl is adjusted to less than $10 to reflect its appetizer-like quantity, or the amount/quality of food is improved, I will no longer be frequenting this establishment; I will also stop recommending it to friends & family. It's unfortunate, as I really did enjoy being a patron here.
Hopefully things will improve.
Cheers.
The tuna tower and veggie bowel are very delicious! All fresh ingredients and great healthy choice. The medium size is usually enough and can hardly finish it.
It was fantastic! I made my own bowl. It was easy and clear on how to do it too. All the ingredients were fresh. My only problem, which is a very small problem, is the avocado chunks were too big. I had to cut them up with my chopsticks.
If you love sushi then you will love this place. You get your choice of a salad or a grain as the base for your bowl then you can add all of the fresh fish and veggies that you want to put in your bowl. Great toppings and sauces. Super healthy. I love this place for my sushi fix.
