Sushi Star

This place was an excellent choice for wonderful and varied delicious choicedes of both Sushi and Sake. I enjoyed the cold apple and raspberry fruit sake choices and the hot choices were excellent! The setting was intimate and small covered family style tables which encouraged low level talking in a quiet comfortable low lit dining area. I loved the food and look forward to a future return soon,

Tuesday roll is amazing. I have been here a few times and is always great! If you can manage to order the small boat, that is a great idea, but a lot of food for one. Bring a friend and sample a few rolls.

First visit. There was a bit of a language barrier with the server. She was polite and brought the correct food and drinks. The bar was compact and seemed like it would a good place for a date. Family atmosphere? Not really tho there were some families there.
I mean make memories over sushi! I will go again.

The sashimi is fresh. The sushi is great. The rolls are amazing. The smoked salmon sushi is fantastic and my favorite. My son loves the shrimp tempura rolls and my go to roll is the crispy crunch (topped with raw salmon!). The calamari comes with a fantastic sauce, but I feel the price is too much for the amount of calamari you get. The service is good when they are not busy, but they usually only have one or two servers working when we go. It is a nice little place to enjoy some fresh fish with friends or family.

We are now regulars here. We used to go to other places, but this one has the most tasty spider roll, and the freshest salmon and tuna rolls I've experienced. Their rice is NOT dry, and the service is pretty good. Sometimes I get up and fill my own water glass, but that's not on them, I drink a lot of water. Haha.
