Bahama Buck's

Really like this place. Reminds me of shaved ice in Hawai'i. Would rate them higher if they improve on thoroughly saturating the cone with syrup. There's nothing worse than a mouth full of just shaved ice. Even asking for extra syrup doesn't help. Their technique for pouring the syrup evenly on all parts of the cone needs to be tweaked. If you get past this, you're in for a treat.

We love Bahama Bucks back from our days in Lubbock, and we always have a good experience. However our last visit to this particular BB was not great. I walked in about 20 minutes before closing time and ordered 2 smalls flat. At first glance the ice in both cups looked stirred up and not packed down. As we ate about halfway down, we hit dry ice without syrup. I had actually got them to-go, and when I got home the ice had shrunk down considerably. Other than that, the service was good and the store was clean. We probably just got a newbie that missed a day of training. We’ll definitely be back.

My daughter loved her birthday cake shaved ice. I had they melon but it had a weird after taste to so I probably will not get that flavor again. Great prices for the sizes we got, she has a baby cup and I just got the small.
