Cannon's Corner Irish Pub

I want to like this place. Good beer selection, decent happy hour, but the bartenders leave much to be desired. There are plenty of establishments to grab a drink in Oak Cliff but what separates the good ones from the great ones are the people that work there. And this place has some of the coldest bartenders in town. No conversation, no ambiance, just here's your drink and walk away.

Great little pub that fits into this old neighborhood like it has always been there. Enjoyed the food (fish and chips) and a beer and shot. Bartenders are amicable and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go again next time I'm in town.

Finally made it for happy hour! Met the new bar manager who is an interesting character and also new to Oak Cliff! Doug is awesome; so awesome that I visited twice today! I got the happy hour mussels, a fish taco and a Chardonnay all for the low , low price of $14 and change. I thought I wanted more at the beginning but I was STUFFED! Please make sure to tip at least 50% because it's so ridiculously affordable!

I have been to the pub multiple times and each time I have had a great experience! The staff is attentive, kind and helpful. I am so happy this place opened in our neighborhood! It is an awesome hang out spot! Would highly recommended the soft pretzels as an appetizer and the fish and chips for your main course. Yum!

Loved this place. Happy hour is great! Lots of menu options. Food was very delicious and the beer was good. Very busy place after 6 PM. Service was a little slow but good. Can't wait to go back. Will be recommending to others!
