Great soup

We have season tickets to DSM and normally eat here before the show. Service is good. Reservations are required. Normally food is delicious. The salad bar and dessert bar are always great. The beef carving station is usually good. However, the past two times we have gone we have noticed a decline in the other main course options and sides, and the dining room has been hot to where diners were fanning themselves. Main course Protein Portions have been cut in half, chicken and fish have been overcooked and dry to the point of being inedible. The food for Miss Saigon was horrible, there could been so many options for Asian inspired food but they completely missed the mark. Even their Asian salad bar dishes were horrible. I really hope they get it together and return to their previous quality. We are very disappointed and hope they figure out what is going on in their kitchen soon or we won't be back. Maybe hire someone who can cook chicken , fish, and pork would be a good start.

Went to see the Lion King. The ambiance was nice and the food was very delicious. We sat at the table with a very nice couple and enjoyed a wonderful meal together. The buffet was amazing. I would truly recommend the Crystal Terrace as a night out on the town.

This is the best restaurant in Fair Park. Love the buffet. It has an elegant decor the food is out of this world delicious. I took my 2 grandsons to see Lion King Buffet and treated them to lunch at Crystal Terrance. I have eaten there for several plays. I’m never disappointed whether a lunch or dinner show. Service is excellent. The elegance and class of the old time restaurants and very reasonable price. I hope this is one thing that will not change when the city turns operations over to a development company. Perfect for a special date or family entertainment. Highly recommend them.
