Dallas Grilled Cheese Co. (Mockingbird Station)

A good grilled cheese to be sure, but not worth the price.

I ate here with my wife. We asked out waiter if the sandwiches came with anything. We were told that the sandwiches were big and he suggested we might share a side of fries.

The sandwiches were not big enough to be a full meal on their own and the side of fries was clearly meant to be a side for one. Moreover, the fries were cold and not very good!

The grilled cheese sandwiches were very good, the bread in particular was of a high quality. It was well toasted and the cheese was very good. I just wish our server had been more honest about how much food we were getting. And that our fries weren't cold!

7 ordered grilled Mac & cheese sandwich, proceeded to devour it, but said later he didn't like the Gouda and it didn't taste like anything. Hubby loved the bologna sandwich but he added a fried egg and brisket and got their house made BBQ sauce which he said was some of the best he ever had. 5 got the Mac and cheese app and seemed to like it. My arugala salad was awesome, but not wild about the rustic.

We've been here a couple of times. The sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced. The service is also excellent! We forgot our leftovers on the table and came back 5 minutes later and they were gone, but our server offered to make us another sandwhich to take home - so nice and thoughtful!

AWESOME! WHO KNEW A GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH COULD BE SO DAMN GOOD!! And the designer cocktails were great. I only had one! My companion had two and loved them!

The bathrooms were very clean and the hand dryers worked. Good going DGCC!

Will definitely go back next time I'm in Big D.

First of all, it's grilled cheese: Curb your expectations y'all. However, this place is a fun and different restaurant to check out. We've always had excellent service and great food for decent pricing (given the fact it's near the pricier part of Dallas). We like to bring friends and family that are visit for a unique dining experience!
