Dot's Hop House & Cocktail Courtyard

Dot's is not only an excellent outdoor bar and chill space, it also cares deeply about the Deep Ellum Community. When the crane fell on Elan City Lights it was storming, but 20 minutes later the sun came out and it got hot fast. Dots employees were the first to provide water to displaced residents as they waited for rides and answers. They didn't get the appreciation they deserved for this action because of the situation we were in, but I will always remember it.

Dots Hop House & Cocktail Courtyard is a cool spot. It’s easy to get to and has a good vibe. The beer list is exceptional! The courtyard is very spacious with massive fans to keep air flow comfortable. Staff is knowledgeable and professional. The entire place was incredibly clean and worth checking out.

My brother turned 21 the night we went here. We had such a great time in the relaxed, but fun atmosphere - not to even mention the beautiful outdoor chandelier! There is a great selection of beers and drinks as well. When we got to the next bar I realized I lost my ID at Dots. I went to check if they had found it and they hadn’t. Two days later, I got a call from Brian letting me know it had been found. I don’t live near Deep Ellum.. and was planning to have my sister go by and get it eventually. He offered to send it in the mail! I know that this Is not something to ask for or expect. It just showed the integrity behind the bar and that they are more than just employees. It gave me hope that there truly are still good people in the world. I will definitely be back when I visit Dallas in the future.

Great owner and huge outdoor space. Fun place to come with a group of people! Great drinks, I always go for the Mule! Unending beer options, which is great for my husband!

The atmosphere was great. There was a lot of people there enjoying St. Patty's day specials. The bartenders were really nice and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive considering the large amounts of people there. I loved that it has an indoor bar and outdoor area with it's own bar as well. There are plenty of picnic tables everywhere which makes it a great place to bring a medium to large-sized group of people. It was my first time here but I will definitely come back again.
