Some of the best food and drinks you will find anywhere. Definitely should be at the top of your list of places to go if you haven't been.
Just had my fourth visit and another wonderful meal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. Cocktail menu and wine list are awesome. Get the devils on horseback and pastrami appetizers. Typing those words makes my mouth water. The turkey leg was surprisingly good - I was hesitant to order but so glad I did. Last night we shared the scallops and ricotta gnocchi - OMG they were both stellar - but the gnocchi is out of this world. Can’t wait to try brunch!
Encina can be a little on the pricier side of dinning in the bishop arts neighborhood of Dallas but it’s worth it! We got the skillet cornbread which was great. Pear pizza and ricotta entree. All amazing and unique. The flower patch drink was tasty as well. Would highly recommend for a date night!
Such a cute spot! Love the covered patio. Our servers were extremely nice and the food was amazing. The short ribs and the skillet cornbread were table favorites.
I read a little about Encina before venturing down to Oak Cliff. I always love the restaurants that truly utilize the farm to table culture, this being one of them. I ordered a few things off the menu: beef cheek pastrami, cheese plate, veal sausage & champagne cake. All of them were amazing, I couldn't have asked for a better spread my first time in. I can easily see this being one of the hip new places coming up in the next few months. Don't miss your chance to stop by, it might be booked solid in a few months.
