Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ended up with the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Chicken was tender but crunchy on the outside. Slaw was delicious. It had real pickles that crunched when you bit it into them. I will be back.

First timer. They allowed me to try a 2 piece for the add-on price. I'm thankful because I didn't want to spend $11 on something that I wasn't going to like. Sounds like a good business move for them to allow me to purchase it that way.

SN: If the owners/managers see this, perhaps consider making this available one day per week. I'm certain that it would encourage more people to try you for the first time. You could market as "Try It Tuesday" or "Tantalizing Tuesday". Just give me credit if you decide to use my idea. 😁

The chicken was freshly fried. It was light and crispy on the outside. I chose the no heat option. They were yummy.

The location was easily accessible. There was a functional drive through. It looked clean from the outside. And that means A LOT. The cashier was pleasant.

I'll definitely be back and it won't be long either.

The hot sauce is HOT, but you have a spectrum to choose from - slightly spicy, all the way to atomic.

Limited menu, but the dishes they serve are worth the price. Good food, reasonable prices. Decent size portions.

Best chicken spot in the area now! It’s very refreshing that a chicken joint serves salads and that’s what I get every time. The cider slaw is so good in the salad that I don’t even need any dressing. I’ve also tried the loaded fries and they are really good too. The waffles fries by themself are dry though but the Hangry Sauce helps. Prices are the highest I have ever seen for a chicken joint but I can see this being a place for bougie black people that still want fried chicken
