We tried this place last night and really liked it! We had the wings, fried rice, and lo mein and they were all excellent. The atmosphere inside was really cute and they have games like basketball and foosball. We will be back!
Food and atmosphere is excellent. Me and the kids usually hang out here during their martial arts class. Service has always been excellent. The bartender is always lovely to my kids very much appreciate that. Kids like their chicken with veggies. We all love the ice cream—a nice place to hang out and rest after work.
The service at Hei Hei is absolutely fantastic. The food well.....is genius. They added bacon to egg fried rice - marriage made in heaven. The Egg rolls are great but the stand out menu item is the Egg Drop Soup. As a New Yorker it is the best I have had in Texas - hands down. If you are craving a taste of home I would recommend all NY transplants to come and try out HH.
Service: The car pickup process is nice and easy. They come to your car and ask your name then bring out your food.
Ambiance: Through the windows, it looks very pretty.
Food: Sigh.. The chicken tasted like frozen chicken nuggets tossed in brown sauce. They were dry and a strange texture. The white rice was dry and old. Everything was too salty. My hot and sour soup was alright but it tasted more like Asian tortilla soup. The kid's fried rice was super peppery. The noodles were just OK.
I wish I liked it because it's close, pretty, and staffed with nice people. But, the menu (and ingredients) would have to be completely changed for me to come back.
