Howdy Homemade Ice Cream

Great ice cream, great service and just what Dallas needs. Owners need to consider expanding locations throughout Dallas. Highly recommend the Hot Tamale and Dr. Pepper ice creams. You won't be disappointed.

I just saw this place be aired on ABC News and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately I have not been here. It is several hundred miles away from where I live in Deming New Mexico, but I think this is the most wonderful and beautiful thing I have ever seen. Gives me Faith in humanity!! Hope to visit this ice cream shop in the near future

Although I live far from this business I have to give it a great rating for the work they are doing for their employees. We have a similar restaurant here in Paris, TN called Sweet Jordan's. I applaud what is going on to help special needs adults thrive and lead productive lives!!

Really good ice cream and had variety of flavors. The staff is very friendly and preferred that you taste all before you decide on which one to pick. Loved the Avocado ice cream and Coco Loto. Not a place you go once and never return. The most important thing that intrigued me was the cause. Will certainly love to see it flourish.

As an amateur ice cream maker and someone on a quest to visit every ice cream store in Dallas this summer, I have to say I was a little disappointed by my trip to Howdy Homemade overall. Love the mission and wholeheartedly support that, but the ice cream wasn't anything truly special, it was just alright. I had the strawberry cheesecake, which seemed light on both strawberry and cheesecake flavors.

It was decent ice cream, and I certainly wasn't displeased or wanting to return it, but overall it didn't live up to the very high rating that it has.
