The food is absolutely amazing! I visit the small location (green house) 3-4x Week ! Best brunch in town but the service every single visit is horrible from the waiter to the hostess. 5 star Food 3 star service. Best veggie burger in town and best pepper gravy! Steve & Armando are very pleasant we haven’t had them as a waiter but they seem very pleasant and upbeat hopefully we get their table some time.

Chicken and waffles plate was amazing! Huge chicken portion and a big waffle. The gravy is delicious. Very busy place and lots of people but worth the wait. Will be going back and alreay recommending.

Ordered the chicken & waffle here. Chicken was good and the gravy complimented it. I advise letting them know how you prefer your waffle cooked since it can make or break the dish. Overall enjoyed the experience!

Hands down best chicken and waffles around. I smother the waffle with gravy and syrup, and then eat the waffle with a piece of their exquisite fried chicken. Biscuits and gravy were great as well. On top of that, the service was no disappointment. Attentive at all times, and making sure that our experience was both satisfying and pleasant. Will be recommending Johnathon’s to all of my friends.

This was my best breakfast and meal in Dallas my last visit there. We showed up on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't busy, only a few other customers. Our waiter Johnny was very polite and attentive. We originally came for the chicken fried chicken steak, as that is my go to. Unfortunately they didn't have it so we were a bit bummed out. So we went for the chicken and biscuit and the fried chicken sandwich with the egg on top. SO DAMN delicious. I completely forgot about the chicken fried steak and we ate the entire meal. I wasn't even that hungry going in but knew we had to eat but we cleaned out both plates. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area. Down the street from bishop arts district which was a plus. Excellent meal all around, definitely will be back!
