La Bendicion

When I visited on a Saturday morning the bread was fresh. It's the best Mexican bread I have tried in N. Dallas. I have been to numerous panaderías in NW Dallas, stand alone ones, in grocery stores, etc. This is the one that gets closest to the bread I had in Mexico City. It's the first time a "Dona con azúcar" takes me back home. Thank you, my search for a good Dona is over. Cuernitos and conchas are on point too.

Traditional small Mexican bakery. Selection is good but unfortunately much of the pastries are day-old. Ask for the freshest they have. Cash only, and while they don't allow customers to handle the pastries, they end up putting them in plastic bags.
