As a Nashville native, I can say this place ranks with the best: Prince's and Bolton's (despite being tenders). We had Best of Luck and Lucky AF and they both took us to Jesus. My wife even shed a tear.
The beans, greens, and slaw were top notch sides with a clear uniqueness. The mac & cheese was standard but solid through and through (which is sometimes all you need with a mac & cheese).
If I had to nitpick... the pickle game could be stronger.
    Good luck y'all!

Speedy service and excellent, friendly staff. My wife and I tried the wings, tenders, greens, Mac and bread pudding. We went for the "damn lucky" spice level which is intended to be more of a medium heat level. This is a lie!! It is hot like fresh asphalt poured at the peak of the Texas summer. THEY ARE NOT PLAYING AROUND. Flavor was fantastic. My wife literally said, "this is the juiciest tender I have ever had". I personally think the wing is the flavor king on the menu. Sides are not a second class citizen on this menu. They clearly put as much attention and care into the sides as the chicken. The greens were some of the best I've had outside of cooking them at home. Mac is saucy and cheesy which is all one wants from Mac. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Our mouths are on fire.

We went there on Saturday to celebrate my sons birthday. The food was awesome but take heed on the spice level. I recommend starting with the mild and going up from there! I like spicy and got the medium and it was almost too hot. The Manager was amazing and we were pretty needy! He made several trips to the table and the staff was awesome. I will definitely be back but will start with the mild next time.

Honestly, this is THE best hot chicken spot in downtown Dallas. If you want flavor, amazing crunchiness and a satisfying tasting food look no further. My girlfriend got this for me after a long day of studying and this food literally made me smile for ear to ear. It’s not pricey AT all. this is going to be my new treat every time I do good on a test. We ordered the 6 wing combo and BOYYY the portion size was crazy good. The bread which is set underneath the chicken absorbs all that tasty flavor. As you can tell this place already has a special place in my heart. Overall 11/10 experience totally would recommend

Finally a good hot chicken place in downtown Dallas. Got the fries, mac, and the Lucky combo with Lucky AF heat level. Everything was great and portions were generous. The chicken is very hot so err on the side of caution if you're unsure. Note that the chicken does take a little time to come out if they're busy since they make it fresh.
