Mei Mei Chinese Buffet

We arrived at this restaurant for a meeting. we heard about this place from a lot of people. Well, we were not disappointed. the staff members were so friendly and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.

Food is always good. Service is top notch for sure!! It had been a while since I had been but its still the same. The owner is really cool guy and the atmosphere is so calming even when its really busy. Lot of people, but you feel relaxed and not rushed.

My wife and I were in the area and looking at reviews of the different Asian buffets around us. This one had the most stars and best reviews so we went here. If this is the best North Dallas has to offer then that's a sad testament to the Asian buffet options in this city.

First, there weren't many options at all and what they did have were a disappointment, selection-wise. I couldn't find any of my favorites that seem to be staples at most other Asian buffets.

Second, the quality of the food was only so-so compared to other places we've been. The hot and sour soup, however, was very good despite the fact it was a little too salty.

Third, we saw our waitress twice the entire time we were there. The first time was when we were seated and the second was to give us our bill. Someone else had to come and pick up our payment because our waitress wasn't anywhere around.

Next time my wife and I are in the area we'll have to do a better job searching for a place to go.

The first thing you have to take into consideration is the following, Mei Mei’s is a Chinese Buffet in a strip mall. If you understand that you will really enjoy this place for what it is. They have what I call a large selection of food laid out for you. My favorite was the seafood. Along with that, they have all the standard Chinese dishes like fried rice and lo mein. I sampled both and found them very tasty. I also had some egg drop soup. It was steaming hot but could have used a bit more flavor. They also have a few things such as ice cream, fruit, and pudding for your sweet tooth. All this for a very low price. Mei Mei’s is well worth the trip.
