Very delicious but overpriced by at least 20% per entree. The day I went had very slow service and the hostess didn't explain how the services customers, which was not conventional.
However, despite some issues that can be resolved. The food was excellent. They have a real possibility to overcome obstacles. They need a larger, better paid staff and a more beautiful dining room.
They can become the next big regional restaurant in Dallas. So much potential.
Great place for vegitarian tacos and Tex Mex food. Came for a late lunch on a weekend and found the place mostly packed. The food might take a while if they are busy but it's worth it. I'd recommend the nachos. It's big enough for 2. If tacos are your thing we like the Al pastor and chicken. we had a few off menu items like the picadillo. Be sure to ask for of menu of you want to try new stuff.
Place is super clean and their staff is super friendly. Give it a shot.
I'm a vegan who is very allergic to soy. My omnivore boyfriend found this place for our anniversary lunch. When I mentioned my soy allergy at the register the owner came out to talk to me. He let me know which menu items were safe and committed to oversee our order for safety. He even made sure we knew that I couldn't eat off my boyfriend's plate due to soy in his order. At this point we were sold, before even seeing our food. And then the food came! Large portions of amazing, delicious, VegMex food! This is the best meal I've had in a restaurant in years! We will be back and we will be sending friends!
Went there with a group from work today and we were all impressed and left completely satisfied. One of my coworkers didn’t even realize until halfway through her enchiladas that they were vegan and she wasn’t eating actual beef! Super stoked to have this place north of 635 - there aren’t many 100% vegan restaurants in the area. Definitely recommend the flautas - they were amazing! Also awesome service from the crew there - very knowledgeable about the various dishes and had good recommendations. Side note - the plastic ware is made of plant-based materials and is compostable!
Tried them at the farmers market and wasn’t too big a fan of the quesadilla, but decided to give them another shot, and boy am I glad that I did. Their al pastor and fajita tacos are delicious, also tried the deshebrada chimichanga, and it was the best vegan chimichanga I’ve ever had. The vegan proteins don’t have a funky aftertaste, like other vegan Mexican restaurants...so that’s a HUGE plus. Staff is super friendly, and not shy about the fact that I’ve come to eat here about 5 times since they’ve opened, they are THAT good.
