Really great, tasty sushi. There were some roll combos on their menu that really blew me away. You can tell that the food is very fresh. Nice staff. Can't say enough great things about the food. Absolutely worth a try and I would recommend the interior for a romantic date or a nice business lunch.
My only complaint is that this place will not survive with the current prices it has. It seems nice for the occasional date, but I'd say generally the roll menu is a good $5 per roll over where it needs to be for this location. This would be KILLER in the Uptown area, but for a laid back college spot, I'm not sure this is viable from a business standpoint. Sushi Fork & Sumo Shack both closed down for not appealing to the college crowd enough. I fear for this place, but I do love it.
This is the best sushi in Dallas. Absolutely my favorite!!
The sushi here is amazing and so fresh! My fav roll is the gypsy roll. Our server was Chriselle and she was fantastic and gave amazing recommendations!
Servers in Training. The food was good. The Himalayan isn't tasty, just comes over a block of Himalayan Rock Salt
My wife and I had dinner here and it was wonderful. From the ambience and service to the special sushi rolls, Oishii was not only delicious, but also fun. Our waiter, Ryan, had great suggestions for rolls to try and also suggested the perfect sake pairings to go with them. The last glass of sake we had was actually distilled from Japanese snow. Wow.
Everything about our dinner was great. Delicious food and great atmosphere. We will definitely be returning to Oishii.
