Went on Friday night about 7PM. The place was pretty empty. Took forever for someone to greet us and take our drink order. After that the service was great. Everything we tried was good but not mind blowing. Queso, guacamole, salsa and chips were delicious. Margaritas were on point. The problem we found was that the prices were a bit high. Example: The Chile relleno plate was $14 , only had one small stuffed pepper with rice and beans. You'd have to order appetizers to be full. Jose's tacos meat needed more spices, a little bland. The elote is embarrassing, worst o have ever had and they charge $5. It taste just like can corn that wasn't drained. No flavor at all. Infact most of the main dishes lacked something. The atmosphere is beautiful. Nice and open and clean. Been multiple times and I dont know if is come again.
Super cute. Finally ordered the pozole after multiple visits. What was I waiting for? New Year's Eve?
Downstairs "outside" glass room is a bit noisy. Stay inside or go upstairs when the weather gets nicer.
My overall experience was outstanding. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was phenomenal - really, really, fantastic. The presentation was fun, energetic and overall super inviting. The place was clean and had a great vibe. Back to the food. WOW. Everything from the tortillas (fresh, handmade) to the salsa (so fresh and flavorful!) was so, so good. I cannot wait to be back in town to go back again. 2 thumbs up from me!
Although it is kinda pricy, the food is tasty and the wait staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very clean and modern, and it is definitely and improvement from the prior restaurant here. Worth checking out, and it's nice to sit beside the eyeball statue
