Rex's Seafood and Market

Tried out Rex's today for the first time, and I will absolutely be coming back soon. There are so many great looking choices on the menu, and everything I tried today was cooked to perfection. The inside was nice and quiet, and the service was exceptional! It's hard to choose, but I think my favorite item on the menu so far is the Connecticut style lobster roll.

Great fish selection prepared in interesting and delicious ways. Nice side dish selection. Comfortable atmosphere and good service.

I was sad when they closed original location and happy to see them open one here! Always liked/their fresh seafood. And I'm glad they remain same in this new location. This place would be one of few place you get to find Kumamoto oyster in Dallas area. My recommendation would be any fish they recommend on blackboard and simple flavored dish! Also their bread pudding is yummy xD

First off the restaurant is beautiful and the modern design is very aesthetically pleasing.
The food is outstanding from the Fried Calamari (not shown eaten too quickly) to the Cajun Shrimp and Grits which was hearty and delicious but a tad bit salty even for Cajun style. The star of our meal was definitely the D-Town Fry with its smooth and fluffy eggs it’s fresh fried oysters and the Lobster Sauce was so creamy and buttery you could eat it by itself.

You have to check this place out. I will definitely be back with friends so we have a chance to try more delicious items they serve.

This pricey place has some of the best seafood I've had the pleasure of eating. An innovative menu, well trained and experienced staff and excellent fresh seafood for take out as well. Not that large a place so go early or reserve a table. I had a seafood lasagne from the wall menu. It was wonderful and should be a staple. I shall return!
