I'm hesitant to give this place outstanding reviews!!! I don't want it ruined. Everything is fantastic here. A real gem. It starts w the maitre d, who was w the French Room for many years. He has transferred that excellent service here. Making sure you have the exact right spot (yes, fussy women), immediate drinks and and the perfect setting and ambience to start your delightful experience. The waitstaff and service attends to your exacting needs. (And, I did have them.) The food was incomparable...exactly as described (rare happenstance ) and interesting and unusual. Not your standard chicken, salmon and flank steak offering. Finally, the atmosphere was lovely. The air really special. My husband and I were here two years ago. I don't remember it as welcoming and special as it is now. Perhaps the new maitre d. Either way...go.
One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I’ve ever been to by far. This is the real deal. And a wine selection that’s hard to beat.
Wonderful experience. Food, service, and ambiance are all spectacular.
Definitely would come back.
Overall, this was one of my favorite meals in Dallas so far. I was able to get a place for 2 at the bar on a Friday night at 6:30 without a reservation. There were plenty of parking spaces behind the restaurant. Service was attentive but not intruding. The food was delicious. The swordfish was cooked perfectly and paired well with the ratatouille. The herb sauce never overwhelms the fish.
Christina is a great somm! The bar staff were welcoming and down to earth. Fantastic hospitality and a perfect place for some really satisfying plant-based meals. LOVE the wine list. My first experience was a mixed bag but my second was completely redeeming.
