Salum Restaurant

All I have to say is rack of lamb!! Also had the crab stuffed fried green tomatoes which were delicious. Menu changes here monthly but lamb always on the menu. The staff was sooooo nice. Perfect place for a date night.

I've been driving by this place regularly at 6am. I had no idea this gem of a restaurant even existed. A friend suggested we eat lunch here yesterday and it was superb! I usually get Cuban sandwiches when they are on the menu but yesterday I felt compelled to try their fettuccini. I substituted chicken for the shrimp as I have a shellfish allergy and the dish was absolutely fabulous! There were pieces of sweet bell peppers and big chunks of chicken all in an amazing red sauce. My dining companion had the trout and it too looked spectacular. The olive bread was warm and fantastic with butter!

I will definitely eat here again!

I work next door to Salum and order lunch 2-3 times a month. Their food is exceptional and their service is the best in Dallas. Even though my orders are take out, the owner always makes time to say hello. I highly recommend if you’ve never been!!!

Tried Salum for the first time during Restaurant Week. Other than the torturous drive from Plano in rush hour traffic, the entire experience was EXCELLENT! From the "confused pork" (inside joke) to my upgrade tenderloin with risotto, amazing. From the valet parking attendant, to the host, our server and the owner, Abraham, all gracious & welcoming. And the food- more elegant than our usual haunts, but so good!

We'll even deal with the traffic another time- it's THAT good!

An exceptional experience. Appetizers five stars. Entrees good. Desserts the weakest. But, above all, what a welcoming staff and comfortable ambience! Five stars overall. Definitely recommended.
