Sandoitchi

My daughter pre-ordered some food for the pop up location in Dallas for our visit from Florida. She was so excited for us to try it and it did not disappoint! The strawberry and matcha cream sandwich was amazing! My daughter doesn't like matcha and I had to wrestle the sandwich from her!

Just ok sandwiches. Way too expensive for what you get. The bread wasn't the softest or fluffiest milk bread I have ever had, which was kind of a disappointment. Don't get the black sesame pudding, worst tasting desert I have ever had in my life. Both in flavor and texture. Its like eating slime with a terrible off putting flavor of bananas and black sesame. Ending up tossing the entire $9 container. Was a cool experience and was craving Japanese sandos, got caught up in the hype.

Management perhaps subscribes to quality over quantity. Boxed to impart the feeling of a refrigerated vending machine owing to the packaging, a little more eclectic set of choices would merit further sampling.

The tuna and soft boiled egg sandwiches were satisfactory but didn't leave a taste for more. The sizes were deceptively wholesome by my petite standard since the box was densely packed yet the bread retained its fluffy texture. Wonder if there is Japanese equivalent to brioche.

The dessert was good but the other side dishes were average.
