Wonderful paella and appetizers. We heard it was very good and drive from north dallas to oak cliff to support this 2-month old, great, authentic Spanish restaurant in this tough time. The owner is a delightful man and was warm and appreciative and the food was wonderful. Highly recommend you try them and support them!

Fantastic restaurant. I’m from Madrid and lived in Dallas for 9 years, and I have to say that for the first time I felt like eating real Spanish food since I arrived to this city. And not only the food, but the ambiance was unique and genuine Spanish. While lunch lasted, I missed a bit less home, our varied and flavorful cuisine, and the casual environment that Spain has.

A wonderful, somewhat intimate yet very lively atmosphere to appreciate authentic Spanish cuisine. Pinchos are the main attraction here, along with filling paellas. I didn't get to properly try their drinks so that's for next time. Highly recommend!

We just had dinner tonight and loved it!!!

Santiago, the Manager, did an outstanding job walking us through the food and drinks menu. He was extremely welcoming and kind (clearly loves his job).
As far as food goes, we had black paella, the Oxtail entree and few pinchos. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! My spouse is from Spain and we travel often to visit family and obviously eat amazing food... so we know how real Spanish food should taste like. that said, Sketches of Spain definitely got it right!
It’s a small and cozy house on Zang street, walking distance to the Bishops Arts heart, so you can walk around before or after.
Highly recommended, a MUST in Bishop Arts!!!

We had dinner on the second night they were open, and it was outstanding. We tried many of the pinchos and found them to be some of the most creative bites around. The prawn flambe was excellent, as was the paella and desert. To top it off, both the food and wine were very reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning.
