I came here not long ago for the first time. I have a big family and we were trying bro eat out for the first time in a long time given quarantine. When we walked in we asked for a table of nine (four of which are children) and the hostess started talking to us in a ride manner. She raised her voice a little but it was noticable and told us about the new rule of not seating more than 6 people. We apologized and excused ourselves to go speak with the rest of the party and explain what was going on. We are brown skinned people but we all know English. We were literally communicating to her in English. She decided it was a good idea to send a translator outside the restaurant and inform of of what she just said... It made me feel like she was being descriminatory. Why would you send a translator outside when we were all clearly communicating in English. We still decided to stay since we really wanted to try the food and hoped for better treatment. Our server was amazing! She made sure we were taken care of. I wish I knew her name to give her a shout-out. The food was okay. The orange juice was delicious though! I would have given it four stars but the way the hostess treated us made me decide to not come back.
Although the host was flustered when we arrived and told us she didn't know how long it would take to clean off a booth, the food and our server were excellent. Our server D was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Food took a while to come out, but it was worth the wait.
I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food is always fresh and delicious like I ordered. The staff is super friendly and are very good, hard workers. This is also one of my favorite restaurants when I visit home. The Original Pancake House in Lemon Avenue in Uptown Dallas is also good. Be mindful and patient if you have to wait to get a table. It's worth it!
Here at lunchtime. Seated quickly. Food arrived in good time. Grilled ham & cheese was good, although a bit greasy on the bottom side. I like the homestyle potatoes, aka cubed hash browns. Others had waffles & kids pancakes. All were very tasty! Would be 5 stars but it’s a bit pricey.
Fresh! Hot! Quality ingredients. Great service. Love the price! Consistent product no matter which location I dine in.
#1 stop for breakfast when I have friends from out of town visiting
