Thirsty Lion Gastropub - Preston Hollow

The food is good and the staff are friendly. The wait for service was a little long, but it was also pretty busy. I would definitely come back here again.

Really good service at the bar, the Scoth eggs and spicy chicken were delicious, and good drinks!

Love this place!! I have already been twice in their first week being opened! First visit I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by both Joy and DJ. They were very hospitable and friendly and gave great recommendations. Later, a manager (Joseph ?) came by and introduced himself. He was very professional and gave me the scoop on Thirsty Lion. I returned 2 nights later and was seated in the dining room at a great table with a view of the restaurant and a big screen TV. Joelle was my server and she was amazing! Friendly, sincere and very knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended several items and I decided on the Cauliflower appetizer and a cheeseburger. Everything was soo tasty! Joelle kept my drinks refilled and was prompt with removing dirty dishes and glasses. She thanked me for my patronage and was very sweet and sincere. I met the GM Justin and told him how impressed I’ve been on both visits! Great addition to the Preston Hollow Village development! Can’t wait to return to try some more yummy food options! Fun location and friendly staff! We didn't order food, only had drinks, but they were cold on a hot day!!

Went in last night for dinner. Exceeded my expectations! My waitress was really on top of it. Knew the menu well. I had a bbq cheddar burger. I think it changed my life! So good! My bf had Romano chicken and cleaned his plate.
The vibe was cool. Very welcoming and so open concept. Can’t wait for cooler weather so we can sit on the patio! Huge! Managers were visible and visited with us which is not what I normally experience at most restaurants.

We will be back for sure.
