Never a dull meal at uchi! Seat at bar or table, Chase, always gives us the best service. Uchi over Nobu any day. The best Sushi in entire Texas for sure.

We had an INCREDIBLE experience here. We were visiting from out of state and was recommended to go to this restaurant to celebrate my loved one's birthday.

We ordered the taste menu and we were EXTREMELY delighted and blown away. The last time I had such amazing experience was when I was living in NYC and had gone to a Michelin rated sushi restaurant there.

If you go there, please don't order what you always order, take a chance and ask for a surprise order of sushi or just go for the sampler. You will not regret it.

Literally the best meal I have ever eaten. We got there at 5:30 on a weekday and ordered Omakase, so we could really enjoy the experience. The entire staff was very friendly and genuinely loved working at the restaurant. Probably 5 or 6 servers in total came over and babied us, which was amazing because we wanted to hear all about the food. The music and ambiance were also very enjoyable. It was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to go back.

Update to the my original review- a manager reached out by phone with what I felt was sincere apology and fair resolution as well. This was truly appreciated and has me looking forward to giving Uchi another shot soon.

Reservation not honored. Showed up on time for a weekday reservation. Was told it would 30 minutes. If I showed up 30 minutes late to a reservation, the restaurant would cancel it, that respect should go both ways.

To add insult, they suggestive go have a drink in their sister restaurant. This would be ok if they had offered to comp the drink and there was anywhere to sit, but alas.

The funniest thing was the valet giving us 25$ gift card when he realized we were leaving after having just gotten there. So clearly this happens a lot. Pretty sad that your valet has to bribe your customers to make up for disrespectful service levels.

Worst part is, having been here before and actually gotten to eat, the food is good. So if you don’t mind being treated as if your time and money is not valued, go for it!

I adore this spot! They provide fantastic food, their menu is nice, The cook in that restaurant is a specialist, I like a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the service towards the customers is efficient. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend this place.
