“Dennis at Zalat on Lemmon is the man! He always takes the absolute best care of I and my friends when we come to grab late pizzas. With my last visit I was extremely impressed because Dennis fixed us a pie with only a few minutes left to 12am (closing time). I knowing it was so close to closing walked to my car but Dennis assured me they’d be able to get me a pie made. Along with my pie Dennis provided plates, utensils, water, and ice cream! Thanks Dennis you made my night.”

“We found this place through an ad on google search and decided to try it out since it's close to our place. Hula Girl seems to be a pop-up, and is located inside the Babb Bros BBQ with several other restaurants, so would be a great choice if you can't quite agree on what to eat. The service was super attentive and very top notch. We had questions about the bamboo rice, so the person taking our order brought us a free sample to try - it's white rice seasoned to look green with a very savory flavor. We ordered the Buddha Bowl and a build your own bowl. Unlike other poke places, you don't see the ingredients or the bowl being built. We waited in the car and when the order was ready it was brought out to us. Everything was tasty and fresh. The sauce comes separately from the fish, and there are about 50/50 toppings to rice. Each bowl comes with a decent portion of protein. I could have done with less rice but my husband was happy. The only complaint I have is that the Buddha Bowl was supposed to come with salmon, but it came with tuna. We didn't discover this until we got home. This was not a huge deal for me, just different than expectations. As far as pandemic safety, there is no indoor seating and everyone was wearing masks. Menus were physical but disposable. I did not see virtual menus available.”

“There was no wait for a table, came in and sat straight down. They do not have any real wine options but most of the primary domestic and import beers. Chicken was flavorful and juicy. Coleslaw was amazing, Mac and cheese was pretty good, greens needed more flavorful - they reminded me of glory greens out the can. Server was very nice and food came out pretty quickly. Overall, the dining experience was pretty good! I will be back.”

“I've been going to their food truck/store off and on for years now. They make very tasty, good quality teas. I love the honeydew and honeydew cucumber milk teas! I really fell in love with the honeydew cucumber! They ran out recently but they got it back again and it was surprisingly not good. I'm not sure if it's because they had to get the tea from someplace else because of the virus or because it was a different person making the drink. I think they had to get new ingredients because of the virus because it tasted like the cheap tea mixes you can get from the store. Hopefully they'll get back to their old supplier soon. Not sure if this the case with other tea flavors too .”

Ribs were solid though more competition style than the fall off the bone style I tend to make/prefer. Definitely definitely get the cornbread. The space itself is very cool and wide open. The patio is enormous and there's a rooftop with a great view of downtown.”

“They just opened today and the food is great. I ordered a White Widow and a G13 and they were both fantastic. Hit, plenty of ingredients, and prepared well. Staff is friendly and helpful and I enjoy the vibe of the place. They have plugs at every table for charging phones or laptops so that came in handy on a rainy Monday. Then only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star review is that it took 25 minutes to get my food the first time I went, and 21 minutes the second time. Hopefully that will improve as their folks get used to the flow. They did give me a coupon after I mentioned the wait so they are pretty responsive to any issues. On my second visit, I had the Kali Mist, and The Dank, both again were great sandwiches. UPDATE:. Been back twice since I had issues with the speed and they've greatly improved so I updated it to 5 stars. Sandwiches are fast and great tasting.”
