Osaki Sushi & Hibachi

It took an immense act of faith to open something this good in Duncanville, if I can slander my own environment. The tuna and salmon special order was so creamy fresh. The mango flowers ???? And lovely pickled ginger, potent wasabi.
Also very good was the Age Tofu: crispy outside, creamy inside.

Deducted one star simply for the odd floors that made one feel about to slip at any step.

Gr8 atmosphere & decor. Not a lot of people there, quite. The habachi is done n the back & not n front of u. Service was gr8. The food was not prepared the way we wanted. Steak was chewy due 2 not asking how would like prepared.

This restaurant serves Japanese and Thai dishes. The wife had the beef teriyaki entree with the salad and white rice. I had the chicken tempura appetizer. We also got cheesecake for dessert. She enjoyed her food and I enjoyed mine. I was surprised that my chicken tempura appetizer also had vegetable tempura included with it. I assumed it would just be chicken. That is what I get for assuming.... Our young server appeared to be inexperienced at his job. The manager(owner?) had to remind him to check on his customers. A good or bad server can be the difference between a 4 or 5 star rating. Hopefully if you visit Osaki your server will know what he or she is doing.
