Crossbuck BBQ

Have been to a lot of good bbq joints in Dallas and this place is hands down the best. Each thing I had was delicious and unique in its own way.

Day two opened. Ribs brisket and sausage great consistent smoke, unusual for a new joint. The bar aqua beans a must and the white Mac n cheese could be a meal in itself. Tim greeted everyone Damian was there as well. Truly a must go to joint. Not a lot of frills but great bbq served well.

Went last night for their opening day. Good but not great! This place is a little different. The meat is already precut and portioned out in warming trays. One of the things I really love about Terry Blacks, and others, is you get to see them cut your meat right in front of you (true BBQ experience). Maybe a little lack of presentation here. Also, no sandwich options which was a total bummer for my girlfriend. She loves a good sliced brisket sandwich! Also, drink options are very sparse. They have canned drinks, but no fountain drinks and no tea (which seems almost cruel). But the brisket was good, had a decent bark. Really enjoyed the sausage, probably more than the brisket. Sides were enjoyable, but they could use a few more options. Staff was incredibly friendly! We'll definitely be back because it's good and close to home.

OMG!!! Awesome BBQ!! You have to try this place. Just opened and the Ribs are top notch! Everything was great… brisket, sausage, but the ribs stole the show! Brand new place, staff is super friendly, TVs everywhere no matter where you sit, lots of seating without being crowded, good parking. This will easily be THE BBQ spot in Dallas. Try it out… you will be surprised how good it really is!!! Highly recommended!
