Well... I tried...
It wasn't easy to find you, and when I did, it was a bit of a downer to find a little window inside the door, where nobody except for one guy seemed to know what/who Kona Charli's was/is! After some confusing conversation, we finally figured out how I could actually order a takeout meal. Turns out, I had to pay cash (no real problem, tho I like to put everything on my card). Menu on the screen, finally figured out what to get...
Ordered the Kahlua Pork and two sides.
Ample quantity, and the pork was good, but not the Kahlua Pig I remember from a few years of luau days I spent in Kona. Tasty, but a bit too dry. Nice large portions, though.
I guess I am a better in-house diner than an order-outer.
Sorry, brah... Just a bit short, service and foodwise, of what I'd hoped for...
I ate here yesterday and I was impressed. It reminded me of my time in Hawaii. The rice was sticky and the macaroni was exactly right. The Huli Huli was spot on sweet and soy saucy salty. Good job y'all!
