Maddie G's Hot Chicken

I ordered the chicken tenders which come with two sides. I selected the spiciest option for the chicken and my sides were fries and potato salad. I also ordered an extra side of pimento mac and cheese.

The chicken itself passes the eye test and looks like Nashville hot chicken. However for picking the spiciest level this was at best a medium compared to authentic Nashville hot chicken. The chicken itself lacked seasoning. Seemed to only be seasoned on the breading. The chicken appeared freshly made and juicy and quite large. But my overall experience was that it was too bland for my liking or what i expected. The sides themselves were good but nothing stood out as great.

If you don't like spicy food i would think you'd be very happy with the price and portions.

I received an UberEATS coupon and decided to try this restaurant since it's in my city of Farmers Branch. I'm definitely not sorry! The 'other' chicken sandwiches have nothing on Maddie G's! Next time I will visit in person.

The food is so good. I had the dark plate with fries and cole slaw. The medium heat was perfect for me and it was fun to eat. Get some paper towels for the juice and spices.
