Rafa's Cocina

We went a sunday at 3pm and he didn't have pique (hot sauce) and a lit of things in the menu. The mofongo was undercooked and he only gave us only 5 little pieces of carne frita with the mofongo. Is very overpriced. At the end I Ordered a coffee and he took more then half an hour to bring it to me. Honestly there are better places than here if you want to try puertorican food. The only thing that I really loved was the alcapurria. If I come back would be only for the alcapurria.

I had the Alcapurrias first, then the Canoa’s with white rice and habichuelas guisadas and Tostones. Also ordered the Mofongo with carne frita. Amazing!!! Definitely Recommend to come here for the Food

Love the atmosphere! Though simple, it is super clean, and I love that you can see straight into the spotless kitchen. The staff is very nice and helpful. Food has great flavor. I tried several dishes and each was just as delicious as the next. The only downside is that portion sizes are a tad bit small. Look forward to trying everything else on the menu.

I’m not the type of person that just goes around writing reviews, but when one is needed, I’m sure to take my time and put one together and that’s the case here. I have visited many Puertorican restaurants around the metroplex and by far this is the best. Great Customer Service, Great product, Super clean, but most importantly, they make you feel welcome (to me that means a lot). Rafa, keep up the great work. I support small business owners and I encourage people to visit this location. You will not regret it 👌🏽
