On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Adrien was a top notch waiter! I got lighter fate chicken fajitas with grilled veggies. Hubby got enchiladas. The food was excellent and Adrien kept the chips and salsa coming! Our go to place right down the street! Happy, busy, not too loud and very clean!

It is really telling that Sunday afternoon at 1:30 there are very few patrons here when all the other restaurants around this are full. The food is okay oh, what you would expect at any On the Border restaurant. It was serve Timely, and the server did an OK job of taking our order and someone else delivered it. Nice and friendly server, but not very attentive even though he had just a few tables.

It was sad that we had to wait nearly 10 minutes for somebody come and seat us when we got there. The whole atmosphere was one of comfortable boredom. Management really needs to get on the ball. This could be a good restaurant, in a good location. Interesting to see a small dive half a block away full and a chain restaurant nearly empty.

Delicious food and great outdoor patio experience. There was no crowd but it did still take a little long to get our food. We asked to sit on the outdoor patio. The seats were dirty with dried spilled beer which was very unpleasant smelling. My mother ordered nachos appetizer which was huge. I ordered fish with mango salsa but was very disgusted by the fact there was a long hair in it which I only discovered after eating most of it and there it was lying under the bed of grilled veggies. Disappointing to say the least.

Been going to Keller's since the early 70's it has not changed. I still orser a #5 special and tots like the old days. Great food and times.

The service wasn't that great, possibly because we arrived at 10pm. We never got a refill on our beverage until we were actually preparing to leave. The fajitas had very little flavor and the lighting is a little too bright for my taste. If the lights were a little dimmer it would make it seem more comfortable and cozy. Most of the tables weren't cleaned when we arrived, possibly because it was 1 hour before closing time and many of the staff had gone home for the night. In my opinion, when it gets close to closing time they should seat everyone on one side of the restaurant if they want to begin cleaning early. It's not very appetizing to sit among upwards of 8 dirty tables right beside you.
