Babe's Chicken Dinner House

If you are looking for home cooking, it is fine, but not inexpensive because they assume you are starving. If you go very hungry, perhaps you can get your money's worth, but we didn't. The ribs are very fatty, to the point that my daughter would not eat them. The smoked chicken was fine, but there isn't an option for a different part of the chicken if you aren't a fan of dark meat. The sides are certainly not a healthy option, considering even the green beans are swimming in bacon fat. The salad dressing is pretty good, however there is about a cup drenching the iceberg lettuce salad. Overall, the food is adequate, but not for those that are trying to eat healthy. The place is a little neurotic and loud. If you want to actually be able to talk to anyone at your table, perhaps visit a different restaurant. We won't be back.

Babe's Chicken Dinner House is great. We went for lunch and enjoyed our experience. The fried chicken and chicken fried steak are delicious. The biscuits are THE best. I ate too many of the bottomless offering. The sides were great too. While there, we were entertained by quality live singing and a few staff performances, one of which was the good ole' hokey pokey, which was fun. I would highly recommend this location for a good old fashioned quality meal. (This place serves its food family style, which is fine by me.)

Be sure your hungry when you go to Babes! The food is great. I had the chicken tenders and other people at the table had fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Everything was perfectly cooked, crunchy and delicious. The sides were great. There's a reason this place is so popular!

The service here is really amazing. I don't eat meat so I was afraid there wouldn't be much to eat, and there really wasn't for me, my friend had more than enough though. I was able to eat the mashed potatoes corn and biscuits, which were are all probably the best I'd ever had. They were real busy when we came and ran out of biscuits, I wasn't really upset but the manager offered me and my friend free dessert. We both got the coconut meringue pie, which was also delicious.
