Beef House

I've never been disappointed here, the food is amazing and affordable. The staff is always friendly and inviting, and the owner makes us feel like family, even though we only rarely visit. I have been going here my whole life, and the quality has not declined. Once many years ago, i was studying for a spelling bee and they let my mother and i sit in there for close to 8 hours, we got through the whole list! Nothing but good memories here, and plenty more to be made. I hope this place never closes, it's so important to the community, and to me personally. I highly recommend the Cattleman with bacon!

A Garland landmark, the Beef House has been serving up classic simple faire of breakfast, lunch, or dinner 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for over 70 years. The grilled chicken was just as perfectly seasoned as the first time I was dragged into the joint over 24 years ago. The beef and vegetable soup still does not disappoint.

I Would give it 10 stars if it was an option, open 24 7, daily all you can eat specials. Home cooking that would make you slap your granny. And the most amazing part about the beef house is it cost less for two people to eat there, than mcdonalds

Quaint but unusual. Cheap but decent. Food was good for a greasy spoon type place, and the clientele was quite entertaining. About what one expects at 2AM at a 24/7 diner. Great thing is, the local Garland PD eat there on the 3rd shift (including my fam in their ranks). So one feels safe enough in that part of town. Ate there 20 years ago and it's exactly as I remember. Great memories then, and more to come with my own grown kids. Try it! Albert Special is a must for first-time goers! It's the tradition!!!
