Vito's

I LOVED the original Vito's.... This new place... Meh, not so much. They used to serve salad with the main dish. Now, the prices are about $3 HIGHER and NO salad. Instead, they charge you $2 more for salad separately. One plate of pasta cost me around $17. Seriously. Just pasta, veggies, and water. The ambience is fine, the service is fine (a bit slow, but not bad)-friendly, even. So, other than the prices, this place is fine.

They move across the street in a brand new building. PH# 972/ 313-9210. Great place to eat. Every time I am in town I get a order to deliver or I will pick it up. Nice people and good cooks and staff. Everything is good

We tried out the new location today and the food was delicious. We ordered the Vito's Supreme in a Large and a personal size pizza. The only reason I gave them only three stars was because the service was slow. I'm not sure if it's because this waiter is new to this type of service or because the whole staff hasn't gotten used to the new location but it took awhile for our drinks and food to arrive. I would like to come back later and give it another try just to see if the service has improved. If it doesn't then it looks like I will only be ordering pizza for delivery from that point forward.

We tried Vito’s for the first time at their new location across the street. I’m truly between 3-4 stars. While the food was delicious, the service was lacking and the prices are a bit higher than I would expect. We got an extra large pizza costing us $18.95. We got the cheapest extra large pizza available, the rest are around $20-23. We asked for ranch, they charge for that as well. It took us a while to receive service, my husband’s drink sat empty for a good 10 minutes before asking someone to refill it. I felt really bad for the family next to us because they didn’t even get their drinks ordered for a good 10-15 minutes after sitting there. The service could definitely use a boost for the price of the food and the nice atmosphere of the restaurant.

Love Vito's for a reasonable priced Italian meal. The portions are LARGE-easily enough for a second meal. Their Strombolia is the size of a football! The service is wonderful. The Irving location is moving across the street to a brand new building. The Arlington location is identical in service & food!
