Saltgrass Steak House

Very freindly staff, great environment, amazing food! I have been there twice now and both times i was very pleased. I know steak is their thing but i got the chicken fried chicken. We also had several appetizers and everything was just simply delicious!

I can say honestly that I have never been disappointed at Saltgrass. I am a Landrey's Select Club member and eat here every chance I get, which isn't often enough. A little pricey but you really do get what you pay for. Excellent wait staff, great food, nice ambiance. What more could you want?

We tried the Range Rattlers for appetizer and was very good (super hot as expected for having a huge jalapeno in it. The grilled chicken sandwich is really good. The gulf coast steak was average but the shrimp was soggy, Our server was really nice and offered to get more fresh ones but we were really full at that point. The chocolate cake is excellent as well.
The place in general is very nice and the high ceiling gives it a very comfortable environment.

I always love Saltgrass. This one in particular was nice but we had a bit of a rocky start to our service. We were sat and were there for more than 10-15 minutes before a server noticed we had not been waited on yet, and it wasn't the server who's section we were in who noticed either, it was Gabriel from the section next to us, he took our order and got our drinks and I told him that I would just eat her keep him as our server since whoever was supposed to serve us didn't seem to care for their tables much. The Manager came out to meet us, as per usual with being Landry members, and I told him the same thing and praised our new server since he seems to understand who to treat the guests. The food is always amazing and the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. I plan on going back again and again.

Saltgrass Steakhouse is precisely like the restaurant I would want to open if I ever do so. The atmosphere is very 'Texas' with the rustic theme done well, but still polished with the finer things too. The background music their playing is right on from my viewpoint and you will likely here some Stevie Ray Vaughn while enjoying your awesome steak. It can't realistically get any better than the way they have put it all together. Highly recommended food, service and atmosphere!
