CAJUN CRAB PUB & GRILL

This place is good! We had poboys and they are not stingy with the amount of meat on the sandwich! I would like to try others things at the restaurant, like the boils, to see how good the quality is. The prices are good. I would recommend

My rating is based solely on the meal i had.
I had the 1/2 pound of boiled shrimp with a side of corn. They literally give you ONE half corn on the cob when you order it. I think the 1/2 pound of shrimp was about 6 or 7 shrimp. Good size but i was surprised that the heads were still on. The shrimp was okay but the corn was way too spicy, and i asked for mild spice.
I’ve had “real” shrimp boils in New Orléans and this was no where near as good or satisfying.
Doesn’t come with bread or crackers or anything; 7 shrimp and one corn on the cob. A little over priced for the amount of food (or lack thereof).
Don’t come here if you’re trying to be cheap.

The Alligator Bites are spectacular, as is the Gumbo. Order a Hurricane at your own risk! They are tasty but powerful!!!

Two reasons for only 3 stars...it's pricy for the service, location and atmosphere. And on the ONE night of the year...Fat Tuesday...when a place like Cajun Crab Pub SHOULD be staffed well...the lone, poor, sweet bartender was running like a madman.

The food was just okay. Nothing to really write home to mom about when you are from south Louisiana. We are harder to please than the typical customer. But we really enjoyed talking with our server and the chef. The were so friendly. We shared lots of laughs. Their customer service deserves an 100.
