This was my inaugural visit to Newks. And it won't be my last. The food was fresh and super tasty. Had the NewksQ and the "caviar" both were worth ordering again and again.

My sis in-law recommended this place for us to eat and she nailed it. A lot of variety in foods. I ordered the salmon salad and it was just perfect. Very light but at the same time filling. Well done.

The crust was amazing. The Mac and cheese was superbly cooked, i couldn't call for faster, more professional staff. They will be, for a long timeinto the future, be busy with happy customers. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Further i encourage all you folk to give them a try and share your experience here along with any dislikes you might have, to hopefully help the owners, staff, management, and the like to innovative service. I really can't find anything needing improvements.

Newk's was a pleasant surprise for me. Since I was lunching with a mostly health conscious crew, I was expecting q sandwhich and salad place, which it certainly is, but they also have pizza. The pizza is along that new lunch pizza standard of a 14" thin crust cooked in (I think) a wood fired oven. I had the all meat option and it was really good. In fact, it was too good to think they were using low-fat meats.

Another nice touch was the extras bar, which has roasted garlic, pickled jalapenos among more common fare of croutons and cheeses.

Also liked the very open kitchen. Even though it adds to the bustle of an already busy establishment, there's always something reassuring about having the preparers in sight.
